Nextendo v1.7.4 has been released, building on the Ryujinx Nintendo Switch emulator. It enhances online gameplay by integrating a user-friendly client for the Nextendo Network, eliminating the need for manual configurations. The emulation core remains unchanged, focusing improvements on the networking layer. A key update addresses issues with Splatoon 2’s online schedule, ensuring players access the correct rotation without encountering “communication errors.” The schedule now auto-syncs from a server, and older copied files are disregarded. Users are advised to delete any outdated bcat-seed folders next to the Ryujinx.exe. Download Nextendo v1.7.4 x64 from the provided source.

Nextendo v1.7.4 has been released. Nextendo is a fork of the open-source Ryujinx Nintendo Switch emulator. In addition to Ryujinx’s remarkable accuracy and performance, Nextendo features a top-tier, built-in client for the Nextendo Network â a community-managed alternative to the official online service â enabling supported games to be played online effortlessly without any manual setup, custom hosts file, or SSL bypass from the user. The emulation core (CPU, GPU, audio, input, filesystem) remains unchanged from the upstream Ryujinx. Additions in Nextendo are solely focused on the networking layer and the overall user experience.
Nextendo Changelog:
Fix for Splatoon 2 rotation
Some players were still encountering an outdated Splatoon 2 online schedule, leading to “communication errors” due to being on a different rotation than other players. This release addresses the root issue.
One authoritative source for the schedule. The online schedule (BCAT) is now exclusively read from the auto-synced location that version 1.7.3 already refreshes upon every launch. A stale version located next to the executable â leftover from an older build or copied from another source â can no longer override the current rotation.
No action required on your part. The schedule continues to force-sync from the server at launch; this update simply ensures that the fresh version is the one utilized in-game.
Notes
If you previously placed a bcat-seed folder next to Ryujinx.exe, you can remove it â it is no longer accessed.
