Erings v0.3.4, a work-in-progress Sega Saturn emulator, has been released. It supports many of the console’s major hardware components, enabling numerous games to run, some at full speed. Although not intended to be a perfect emulator, it aims to facilitate a positive user experience while focusing on officially licensed games. Certain features will intentionally remain unsupported. Notable bug fixes include audio track indexing and specific game compatibility improvements for titles like “Die Hard Trilogy” and “X-Men: COTA.” Users can download the latest version to access these updates.

erings v0.3.4 has been released. This is a Sega Saturn emulator that is currently a work in progress. Most major internal hardware components of the console are implemented to varying degrees. Many games function, with several running at full speed. However, numerous bugs are still present. The main aim of erings is to enable the play of most officially licensed games while emphasizing the user experience. This is not designed to be a flawless emulator for every aspect of the Saturn, as certain features and components are intentionally unsupported and will remain so. It’s more accurate to consider this as a Saturn game player rather than a digital Saturn console.
