melonDS Git (2026/05/28) is an open-source Nintendo DS emulator, part of a second wave of DS emulators. It features a nearly complete core for CPU, video, and audio, along with a JIT recompiler for fast emulation, OpenGL renderer, and 3D upscaling. Additional features include RTC support, microphone functionality, joystick support, and savestates. Work is ongoing for WiFi multiplayer, DSi emulation, and GBA slot add-ons. Recent updates include bug fixes and input updates. melonDS continues to evolve, promising more features in the future. Download is available for x64 systems.
