PPSSPP Git Update (August 21, 2026)

PPSSPP Git (2026/08/21) is a fast, portable emulator for PSP, compatible with Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, and written in C++. Recent updates include the implementation and stubbing of functions called by the VSH, improvements in kernel-mode permission checks, and enhancements to PSAR archives, such as identifying encrypted PRXs and unpacking firmware. Additional changes involve documenting new entries in HLE modules, adjusting debugger settings, and cleaning up the libretro core organization. For those interested, the emulator is available for download for both x64 and Android platforms.
