Midas Interactive Entertainment BV began in the Netherlands in 1998 under founder Paul Share as a low-price European games publisher focused on budget releases and compilations. By early 1999 the group established a UK subsidiary to handle marketing and wider publishing. Its Dutch-origin imprint released Windows budget titles including Evel Knievel Interactive Stunt Game (listed 1998) and compilation releases such as Board Games Compendium (listed 1999).
