Version 0.83 of Gameplay

Gameplay v0.83 has been released, enhancing its frontend for DosBox, DosBox-X, and Scumm for easy MS-DOS gaming. Users can select games without any configuration, as everything is pre-set for optimal performance. Key updates include an automatic game list download and version check, simplified interface by removing game addition features (future plans for a separate application), and the ability to display only available games. New titles added include “Little Big Adventure,” “Tomb Raider,” and “Dungeon Keeper.” Extra content can be downloaded separately. The update aims to improve user experience and accessibility in gaming.

Simply select a game from the list and start playing. Everything is preconfigured for optimal audio, visuals, and additional parameters.

The game list now automatically downloads if it is missing
The game list checks its version and will update itself when a newer version is detected
Converted the game list to JSON format
The interface has been further simplified by removing the feature to add games. A dedicated application for editing and adding games will be introduced in a future version
A notification is displayed while games are being downloaded or unpacked
Extra content can now be downloaded separately from the games
An option has been added to show only available games in the game list
Support for GunStick game emulation has been added
