Ares Git (2026/05/31) is a multi-system emulator focused on accuracy and preservation, stemming from the higan and bsnes projects since its development began on October 14, 2004. It currently emulates 27 hardware devices, including Famicom, Super Famicom, Nintendo 64 (in progress), Game Boy series, and others like the Neo Geo Pocket and ColecoVision. The latest changelog notes updates to dependencies following version 148. Download options are available for the x64 version.
