This batch of sports games ranges from icy downhill courses and hoverboard circuits to tennis rallies, baseball seasons, sumo bouts, and a fluorescent bowling lane.

1080° Snowboarding

In snowboard races and trick events, six downhill courses and a half-pipe split the action between racing lines and aerial scoring. Time Attack, Trick Attack, Contest slalom, and two-player versus give the cartridge a sharper spread of events than a single mountain run.

64 Ōzumō

rapid sumo contests makes every shove near the ring edge feel dangerous, since a bout can end in seconds. Its career detours include diet choices and fishing, while matches can take place in comic-book versions of Egypt and the Moon; put its rapid ring-outs beside a longer wrestling game and see which approach your group prefers.

Air Boarder 64

hoverboard stunt runs sends four initial riders through five stages, balancing trick scores with yellow reset circles that extend the clock. Lecture mode lays out the inputs before Street Work, while Vs. Race and Vs. Coin turn the same courses into split-screen contests.

All Star Tennis ’99

four-player doubles tennis brings singles and doubles across grass, clay, hard court, and rebound ace surfaces. The roster mixes ATP and WTA players with four fictional creations, and the four-player doubles option is the match to queue up when everyone wants a racket.

All-Star Baseball 2000

a full baseball season pairs on-field play with roster moves, minor-league signings, and created players. It includes a 162-game interleague season and the 1999 MLB schedule, with the Expansion Pak noted for longer replays.

All-Star Baseball 2001

baseball's Legends lineup adds the Coopertown Legends, including Yogi Berra, Willie Stargell, and Reggie Jackson, to its modern-season lineups. Franchise play tracks fatigue, injuries, and minor-league call-ups, while Home Run Derby offers a faster change of pace.

All-Star Baseball 99

the original All-Star Baseball season supplies Training, Season, Playoff, World Series, All-Star, Home Run Derby, and trivia modes. Its 700-player pool supports signings, trades, releases, and created players, with John Sterling and Michael Kay named for commentary.

Big Mountain 2000

ski and snowboard championships lets each racer choose skis or a snowboard before tackling Free Ride, Slalom, or Giant Slalom. Championship results raise cornering, acceleration, and stamina, and two players can mix equipment choices in Battle mode.

Bottom of the 9th

late-inning baseball scenarios mixes exhibition and season play with Scenario Simulations built around specific pressure situations. Try a final-pitch walk-off challenge against a friend’s attempt to protect a lead, then compare whether batting timing or pitching control decides more of your games.

Brunswick Circuit Pro Bowling

Brunswick lane competition offers Exhibition, Skins, Tournament, Career, Practice, and Cosmic modes, with 13 Brunswick ProStaff bowlers and a custom option. Lane conditions change during play, so ball choice and adjustments matter from the opening frames to the late ones.

For a retro sports night, would you start with 1080°'s Trick Attack, four-player tennis doubles, a baseball derby, or the quick ring-outs of 64 Ōzumō?
