This Windows batch ranges from demoscene compression experiments and score chases to branded curiosities and a three-part prison escape. The common thread is action built around immediately readable hooks: a tiny FPS, crate-kicking mazes, music-driven dives, and tense platforming corridors.

.kkrieger: Chapter 1

In the 97 KB first-person shooter, procedurally generated corridors, enemies, weapons, and lighting are squeezed into a famously tiny executable. Chapter 1 keeps its attention on quick firefights, power-up hunting, and a short run through industrial spaces rather than a campaign-sized story.

(Not) Just another Space Shooter

the mouse-controlled space shooter puts a red fighter under mouse control, with left-click acceleration and right-click laser fire amid waves of drones, cruisers, and battleships. Beam, Bullet Time, rockets, shields, and mines make a good point of comparison for anyone who favors a particular arcade-shooter emergency button.

*NSYNC Hotline Phone and Fantasy CD-ROM Game

the *NSYNC fan CD-ROM combines Quick Change, Bowling, Make-A-Move, Trivia, and Charity Challenge with unlockable clips and recorded messages. Its Fantasy Phone interrupts the mini-games with simulated calls and messages from the group, making the interface as much a part of the period package as the quizzes.

€uro-Man

the euro-themed maze chase sends Euroman through isometric mazes to collect former national currencies from eight European countries while Dollar Man, Ninja Yen, and James Pound give chase. Locked gates, one-way barriers, hidden passages, and short-lived Euro Boost zones push the familiar collect-and-evade format toward route planning.

007: Nightfire

In Bond's Nightfire campaign, Bond moves through nine missions against Raphael Drake's Phoenix International scheme, mixing gunfights with infiltration and gadget tasks. The laser watch, X-ray glasses, hacking objectives, and tracking devices give the missions a more varied rhythm than straightforward shooting alone.

1… 2… 3… Kick It! (Drop That Beat Like an Ugly Baby)

the music-generated diving game builds a geometric city around an MP3, OGG, or WAV chosen from the player's library, with the track's tempo governing the speed of the descent. Close passes, glass panes, enemies, shootable blocks, and sharp mouse-directed turns all feed a multiplier chase that can collapse with one hit.

118 118 Nummerjakten

the Swedish warehouse advergame has a warehouse worker smash and kick wooden crates to uncover six stars spelling out 118 118, while cherries offer points and ghosts turn a find into trouble. Kicking a crate into a ghost is the move to test against the more direct crate-breaking approach, especially when a tight aisle leaves little room to retreat.

1213: Episode 1

the first 1213 escape begins with an unnamed prisoner escaping a facility after a daily regimen of lethal trials, then reveals fragments of the setting through scattered console logs. Its movement includes running, crouching, jumping, and ledge hangs, while the heartbeat health display and showers make recovery part of navigating the complex.

1213: Episode 2

the second 1213 chapter adds a short sprint and running jump as prisoner 1213 pushes into research areas populated by mutants, security threats, and puzzle rooms. Notes and logs shift attention toward the missing orderlies and the Yellow Death virus, while broken walkways and ramps put the new movement to regular use.

1213: Episode 3

the 1213 finale closes the escape story with prison corridors, underground labs, traps, guards, and environmental puzzles, plus an additional scenario included with the Special Edition. Flashbacks, encrypted files, and diary entries frame the confrontation with the figure behind 1213's imprisonment, while the bonus stages introduce timed cameras and movable crates.

Which of these Windows oddities would you put side by side first: .kkrieger's compact FPS run, Kick It's song-led score attack, or 1213's deliberate platform escape?
