Sonic Team

Sonic Team began inside Sega as the AM8 development group and took the Sonic Team name during the early 1990s. Based in Japan, the group included programmer Yuji Naka, artist Naoto Ohshima and designer Hirokazu Yasuhara and produced the original Sonic the Hedgehog (1991). Across the late 1990s and 2000s it operated both in Japan and briefly in the United States, delivering titles such as Sonic Adventure and Phantasy Star Online while also developing entries in Puyo Puyo and later Sonic series installments. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as Windows, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, GameCube, Wii, Dreamcast, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, and SEGA Saturn.
