PCSX2-Reliquary v1.8.1 has been released. PCSX2 Reliquary is a fork of PCSX2 that emphasizes accurate emulation of security flows and niche PS2-derived hardware. It supports platforms and software beyond the typical retail console spectrum, including systems like the Konami Python 1 & 2, and Namco System families.

Summary of Changes
This release finalizes the adjustments to bring down the current soft-float implementation from upstream into the recompiler. Earlier efforts directed math operations to interpreter function calls as a proof of concept, while this subsequent step incorporates the operations as legitimate x86-64 JIT code generation.
These recompilers have undergone extensive testing against actual hardware, the soft-float interpreter, and various retail games. Special thanks to LoStraniero91 for their support with retail testing and bug identification.
I acknowledge that my soft-float implementation is not flawless and there remains significant potential for optimization. Notably, a comment from pstef regarding their findings on DIV improved that operatorโ€™s performance by about 20% on my setup.
There will be bugs, and I am eager to eliminate them, but having spent over a month on this project, I believe it’s an appropriate time to declare it ready, and I am quite satisfied with its performance.
NOTE
To simplify the complexity of the recompiler implementation, I have streamlined the options from three per core to just one check per core. Most games utilizing soft-float primarily require EE and VU0, with very few needing VU1. Those that do should be near or at full speed if your CPU is sufficiently powerful (high-end Zen 3 or better, in my opinion).
MTVU and mVU Flag hacks are advisable if the game can handle them; however, I recommend disabling instant VU as it seems to increase the load on the VU core based on the game engine.

TESTING
If you encounter a bug in this release, please attempt to narrow down:
Which core is causing the problem?
Does the issue persist with Game Fixes and Compatibility Patches turned off?
Does it still occur in interpreter mode?
This information greatly aids in developing a patch swiftly.
A few issues I have faced stemmed from Compatibility Patches not interacting well with accurate floats, or game fixes behaving incorrectly with the recompiler paths. Many patches/game fixes address VU quirks, so it is likely many can be disabled.
