PCSX2-Reliquary v1.6 has been released. This fork of PCSX2 emphasizes accurate emulation of security mechanisms and unique PS2-related hardware. It focuses on platforms and software beyond the standard retail console route, including systems like the Konami Python 1 & 2, as well as various Namco System families.
PCSX2-Reliquary Changelog:
Usability enhancements
Screenshot functionality in parallel-GS is now fixed
Arcade BIOS selector added. Choosing a BIOS for Arcade mode will automatically select it when launching Python 1 titles. Retail BIOS will be utilized for Retail and Python 2 titles as expected.
MG Fallback: If keys are not defined, it will replicate PCSX2 behavior and emulate & stub mecha communication. This may prevent Python 1 & 2 titles, as well as DVD and HDD installations from functioning, but allows retail games to save again for those interested.
