Jaleco USA, Inc.

Jaleco USA, Inc. was the United States subsidiary of Japan’s Jaleco (originally Japan Leisure Co., Ltd.), operating chiefly in the late 1980s through the 1990s from an American office that handled North American distribution and publishing. Yoshiaki Kanazawa is documented as the founder of the parent company, while contemporary reporting names Howie (Howard) Rubin as head of the U.S. operation when it launched for the NES era. The U.S. arm published or distributed many SNES/PlayStation and NES-era releases in North America, including The Ignition Factor, Sterling Sharpe: End 2 End, Juggernaut and several Bases Loaded entries.
