Konami, Inc.

Founded from a jukebox repair business in Osaka in March 1969 by Kagemasa Kozuki, Konami grew into an arcade and home-game publisher through the 1970s–1990s. Its U.S. operations began in November 1982 as a Torrance, California subsidiary and relocated to the Chicago area after Konami acquired distributor Interlogic in 1984, with Interlogic’s Ben Har‑El moving into leadership at the American arm. During the 1980s and 1990s the company released both arcade hits and numerous licensed movie and cartoon tie‑ins across coin‑op and home platforms. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as DOS, NES, Arcade, Commodore 64, Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, ZX Spectrum, Nintendo Switch, and SNES.
