MacPlay

MacPlay began in the early 1990s as Interplay’s Macintosh-focused publishing arm, releasing Mac versions of Interplay properties and other ports for classic Mac OS. The brand was largely inactive after Interplay reduced Mac operations in the late 1990s, then returned around 2000 when United Developers relaunched MacPlay as a subsidiary under Ron Dimant’s leadership. During its Macintosh-era activity the imprint is associated with Mac releases of titles such as Wolfenstein 3D, Descent and Fallout, plus a broad slate of late 1990s and early 2000s Mac ports and casual releases. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as Windows, DOS, Amiga, 3DO, FM Towns, PlayStation, CD-i, SEGA Saturn, SNES, and Xbox 360.
