SNK Playmore Corporation

SNK Playmore Corporation was the Osaka-based company that operated from the early 2000s under the SNK Playmore name after Playmore acquired the old SNK’s intellectual property and corporate identity. The firm used headquarters in Suita (Osaka) and marketed Neo Geo-era and later releases worldwide through a US branch. Eikichi Kawasaki is documented as reacquiring the SNK name for Playmore, and Koichi Toyama served as president and CEO during the SNK Playmore era. The company published new and reissued entries in legacy series such as The King of Fighters and Metal Slug while managing Neo Geo catalog releases and compilations. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as PlayStation 3, Arcade, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 2, Nintendo Switch, Windows, Xbox One, Neo Geo, Wii, and PSP.
