Snowball Studios (known as Snowball.ru until about 2008) was a Russian publisher and localizer active from the late 1990s through the early 2010s, operating from Russia and focused on bringing Western PC and console titles to Russian and CIS markets. Sergey Klimov is cited as a senior producer associated with the label. The company handled Russian releases or localizations for titles such as Battlefront’s Combat Mission series, Paradox Interactive’s Europa Universalis III, and TaleWorlds’ Mount & Blade. In 2010–2011 the Snowball team became integrated with 1C‑SoftClub according to contemporaneous industry notices.
