Sony Online Entertainment Inc.

Sony Online Entertainment Inc. was the online-games division created within Sony in the late 1990s that operated under that name until it was sold and renamed Daybreak Game Company in February 2015. Based in the United States, the studio included teams from acquired developers (including Verant) and listed John Smedley among its senior executives during the SOE era. Over its run the company published and operated long-running multiplayer titles such as EverQuest and PlanetSide and produced EverQuest II and related online trading-card and expansion projects now associated with the same lineage of studios. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as Windows, PlayStation 3, PSP, Xbox 360, PS Vita, PlayStation 2, PlayStation, Xbox One, Arcade, and Commodore 64.
