Valve Corporation

Valve Corporation was founded in 1996 in the Seattle area by former Microsoft employees Gabe Newell and Mike Harrington. Operating from Kirkland/Bellevue, Washington during its early years, the company began as a PC game developer and later expanded into digital distribution and platform services. Early titles include Half-Life (1998) and its sequels; subsequent releases and platform distribution credits include Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike variants, Team Fortress 2 and the Left 4 Dead series—works that are commonly associated with Valve’s development and publishing activity in the 1998–2010s period. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, cover Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PSP, and Xbox.
