ABOUT THE ORIGINAL GAME

Tempo Jr. starts with a simple, cheerful rhythm: guide Tempo through a two-part level, locate the exit, then square up to a boss. It is a compact Game Gear platformer built around staying mobile rather than stomping everything in sight. Firing musical notes stuns an enemy, but the real satisfaction comes when you drift into them and Tempo automatically boots them away.The wing moves give the little grasshopper more personality than a basic run-and-jump hero. You can pick up speed, float over danger, and slow a fall enough to make tricky landings feel recoverable. Coin hunting also has a tangible reward, since coins open a post-level mini-game for extra points or lives. It is a modest sequel, but a pleasant fit if you want a portable platformer with a playful combat twist.
