Apparently the North American Sonic Heroes manual describes Eggman as “a romanticist, a feminist, and a self-professed gentleman.”

That last bit is doing a lot of work. He checked his own references and somehow got a glowing recommendation. The robot army must have stayed quiet during the interview.

I put the actual manual excerpt and the localization wrinkle in the new FYI here: Dr. Eggman Is a Feminist, According to the Sonic Heroes Manual.

What other game villain has a biography this generous? And who would you trust less to write their own character reference?
