Gameplay
Peach the Lobster is built around arcade platforming in a side-view, 2D-scrolling format. Peach can jump, double-jump, slide, run, and duck beneath platforms and through crevices, giving the character a range of movement options for navigating Norumbega.
Combat centers on Peach’s claw gun, which can be used against enemies and monitors. Monitors can release 1-up Lobsters, health-up shells, and bonus points, adding collectible rewards to the platforming action.
The four-region journey moves from the Grasslands through Atland and the Norumbegan Caves to the Techno-Castle. The settings introduce hazards such as underwater currents, while the castle includes laser turrets and robotic duck henchmen before the final confrontation with Fang Duck.

Graphics
The game presents its action as a side-view 2D scrolling platformer for DOS. Its environments are organized into distinct regions rather than a single uniform setting.
The Grasslands are described with lush foliage, waterfalls, and hills, establishing Norumbega’s main territory. Atland contrasts with this landscape as a region that mysteriously sank underwater a thousand years ago.
The Norumbegan Caves use torch-lit caverns that lead toward windswept mountaintops, while the Techno-Castle provides a futuristic setting populated by laser turrets and robotic duck henchmen.

Story
Norumbega begins as a peaceful land, but Fang Duck, ruler of the Dark Quarter, invades the rest of the region with his duck minions. In his haste, he overlooks Peach’s coastal home.
Peach is selected by the leaders of the coastal town to stop Fang Duck and restore peace. The story therefore gives the platforming journey a clear objective: cross Norumbega and challenge the invading ruler.
The route ends at the Techno-Castle, Fang Duck’s lair. After traveling through the four regions, Peach’s campaign leads to a final confrontation with Fang Duck himself.
Overall Experience
Peach the Lobster combines straightforward arcade-platforming goals with a playful premise and a clearly defined route through Norumbega. The claw gun, movement abilities, and monitor rewards give the central action several complementary elements.
Its progression has strong environmental variety, moving from grasslands and underwater hazards to caves, mountaintops, and a technology-themed fortress. This sequence also builds toward the stated encounter with Fang Duck.
With its DOS release, four-region structure, and blend of platforming, combat, hazards, and bonus items, Peach the Lobster offers a focused arcade adventure centered on restoring peace to Norumbega.
