Gameplay

The first thing that matters here is whether you still wanted more reasons to play Uncharted 2 online with other people. Siege is a new co-op multiplayer mode, and that makes this pack feel more substantial than a simple map-and-costume bundle. Instead of only refreshing the places you play, it adds a different shared activity to organize a session around.

That co-op focus is the pack’s strongest argument. If competitive multiplayer had started to feel overly familiar, working alongside other players gives the expansion a distinct change of pace. It is also the part most likely to earn repeat visits: a new mode can reshape what you and your friends decide to play for an evening, while a new skin is usually a brief novelty.

The two multiplayer maps add welcome variety, though they are supporting material beside Siege rather than the reason to buy on their own. The 11 PSN Trophies—ten bronze and one silver—give completion-minded players a clear set of extra targets. That can be a satisfying nudge to spend more time with the mode, but it will not transform the package for anyone who had already moved on from multiplayer.

Graphics

The most immediate visual additions are the six character skins. Two draw from Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, while four are exclusive to this pack, giving returning players a few more ways to change the look of their multiplayer character. The two new maps also bring fresh locations into the online rotation.

Story

This is not an expansion built around a new narrative hook; its attention stays on multiplayer play. That makes the name “Among Thieves” more of a familiar home base than the promise of another story-driven adventure.

The Drake’s Fortune skins offer a small nostalgic connection to the earlier game. They are a nice touch for fans who enjoy seeing that history reflected in multiplayer, but they function as character looks rather than a new tale to follow.

Buy it for communal matches, not for plot momentum. The pack’s sense of payoff comes from adding another activity to an existing online game, plus a few collectible goals to pursue with it.

Overall Experience

Siege Expansion Pack is a clean, targeted piece of DLC. Its new co-op mode supplies the real value, and the maps, skins, and Trophies make the return trip feel a little fuller. When you have an active group, that combination is easy to appreciate.

Its limits are just as clear. Much of the package is extra multiplayer material, so its impact depends on how much you already enjoy Uncharted 2 online. The cosmetics are pleasant bonuses, not the kind of addition that carries the purchase.

For regular multiplayer fans, especially anyone eager for cooperative play and fresh Trophy goals, this is a sensible expansion. If you came to Uncharted 2 chiefly for its single-player adventure, the payoff is far less compelling. It is a good return-to-the-game pack, not an essential purchase for every owner.
