Electronic Arts Canada
Originating as Distinctive Software in Vancouver and acquired by Electronic Arts in 1991, EA Canada (also credited as Electronic Arts Vancouver) became EA’s primary Canadian development studio through the 1990s and 2000s. Headed in its early years by Don Mattrick at Distinctive, the studio produced many EA Sports titles and technology used across EA, including FIFA and NHL entries, Fight Night and early Need for Speed work. Located in Vancouver, British Columbia, the studio later appears in records under both EA Canada and Electronic Arts Vancouver. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as PlayStation 2, Windows, Xbox, GameCube, PlayStation, Xbox 360, Genesis, PlayStation 3, SNES, and DOS.
