Guac v0.0.4 has been launched. Guac is an emulator developed in Golang for Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, and Nintendo DS handheld consoles.

Instant emulation
Guac doesn’t require any BIOS or firmware files (though you can supply them), just the ROMs you wish to use. It also supports full controller functionality, even in menus.
High Accuracy
GBA emulation is highly precise, featuring a cycle-accurate CPU and other subsystems. Real-Time Clocks, Solar Sensors, and more are effectively emulated.
Enhanced Performance
Guac’s Nintendo DS emulation utilizes a unique JIT compiler, significantly boosting CPU emulation speed by 2-5x depending on workload. This is the first JIT compiler that interacts (and sometimes confuses) the Golang runtime to enable calls to Go functions from JIT code. Customization
Guac offers a plethora of customizable options. The UI features adjustable colors, hotkeys, and localization in English or Spanish. All consoles have adjustable inputs, while the Nintendo DS permits custom screen layouts, Real-Time Clocks, and Firmware.
3D Scene Export
Guac includes a 3D Scene Export feature, enabling users to output the current 3D scene as an .obj file for use in 3D software like Blender, Maya, and more for debugging and creative projects.

Guac’s GBA Emulation is now cycle accurate*! It successfully passes numerous timing tests, including all AGS Aging Cartridge tests, all Hades tests, and Mgba Timing, Timer count-up, and Timer IRQ tests. According to Emulation General Wiki, only three other emulators have passed this combination of timing tests. Moreover, Guac also accurately emulates Classic NES Series games, which are particularly tricky to emulate, including The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, and Super Mario Bros.
It’s important to note that while the emulation is impressive, graphical fidelity still requires improvement. Many emulators that don’t pass these tests offer a superior balance of features, compatibility, and performance; however, reaching this point is a significant achievement for Guac.
