Empire Interactive Entertainment
Founded in 1987 and operating under the Empire Interactive and Empire Interactive Europe names, this London-based publisher operated from the late 1980s through the 2000s. Ian Higgins and Simon Jeffrey are named as founders/key people during its run. The company released a wide range of PC and console titles, including the wargame Napoleon 1813 (1999) and several entries in the FlatOut racing series, such as FlatOut: Head On (PSP, 2008). Empire’s corporate history includes a change of ownership in the 2000s and entry into administration in 2009. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as Windows, DOS, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Amiga, PlayStation, Dreamcast, Arcade, PSP, and Game Boy Advance.
