Encore

Encore operated in the mid-to-late 1980s as a UK budget publishing label associated with Elite Systems. It reissued and repackaged established 8‑bit titles for the Spectrum, Commodore 64 and similar home computers, appearing on shop racks between roughly 1984 and 1990. Titles appearing under the label include Kokotoni Wilf, Hoppin’ Mad, Blue Thunder, Super Trux, Mike Read’s Computer Pop Quiz, Scooby‑Doo and Frank Bruno’s Boxing; other arcade and action conversions such as Chain Reaction, Combat Lynx, Space Academy, Deep Strike and Batty also appear in its listings. The label is distinct from later US firms named Encore or Encore Software.
