Playtronic Industrial Ltda.

Playtronic Industrial Ltda. was a Brazilian joint venture formed in March 1993 by Gradiente Industrial S.A. and toy maker Estrela to manufacture and distribute Nintendo products in Brazil. Operating primarily in the 1990s, it produced locally made consoles and released Portuguese-language packaging and manuals for several licensed titles, and Gradiente continued related distribution after Estrela’s exit in the mid‑1990s. Notable Brazilian releases under the Playtronic label include localized Super Nintendo and Game Boy items and a range of internationally licensed games sold in Brazil during that period.
