Simon & Schuster Interactive
Simon & Schuster Interactive was the consumer software and video games publishing arm of Simon & Schuster Inc., operating in the mid-1990s through 2003 from the publisher’s New York base. It followed an earlier Simon & Schuster Software unit and released a mix of children’s learning titles and licensed entertainment games, including Richard Scarry adaptations, Maisy and Curious George educational releases, Deer Avenger, Darkened Skye and Outlaw Golf. Giles Dana is named as a senior executive tied to S&S’s interactive/new media activities at the time; the unit was closed by the parent company in 2003. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as Windows, Xbox, DOS, GameCube, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, 3DO, Dreamcast, Game Boy Advance, and Jaguar.
