Team17 Software Limited

Founded in 1990 through a merger between Wakefield publisher 17-Bit Software and Swedish developer Team 7, Team17 began releasing games in the early 1990s from its West Yorkshire base. Early staff named in contemporary records include Michael Robinson, Martyn Brown and Debbie Bestwick alongside Team 7 members Andreas Tadic, Rico Holmes and Peter Tuleby. The studio’s early output included Full Contact and the Amiga action series Alien Breed; it later became widely associated with the Worms franchise while expanding into publishing and wider development through the 1990s and 2000s. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as Amiga, Windows, DOS, Amiga CD32, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Dreamcast, and Game Boy Advance.
