MesenCE Git Update (June 7, 2026)

MesenCE Git (2026/06/07) is a multi-system emulator for Windows, Linux, and macOS, supporting platforms like NES, SNES, Game Boy, and more. It is a community-managed fork of Mesen2, aimed at maintaining and expanding its capabilities. Recent updates include improvements to GBA DMA, enhanced SNES SGB packet emulation, and corrections to screen size loading for PAL games on NES. Additionally, a debugger issue causing crashes when loading save states has been fixed. The latest version is available for download.

MesenCE Git (2026/06/07) has been released. Mesen is a versatile emulator that works on Windows, Linux, and macOS, supporting various systems like NES, SNES, Game Boy (GB/SGB/GBC), Game Boy Advance, PC Engine, SMS/Game Gear, and WonderSwan (WS/WSC). MesenCE is a community-driven fork of Mesen2, aimed at sustaining and enhancing this emulator for the future.

MesenCE Git Changelog:
* GBA: DMA – On repeat, channels should reload the length from the register (#170)
* SNES: Enhanced SGB packet protocol emulation (#169)
* NES: Corrected screen size when loading a PAL game with the “Auto” aspect ratio (#168)
* Debugger: Resolved crash issue in debug builds while loading a save state with the debugger open (#167)
