Agetec, Inc.

Agetec, Inc. operated as a North American video‑game publisher and accessory distributor that grew out of ASCII’s U.S. operations. The business traced its American beginnings to ASCII Entertainment Software, Inc. in the 1990s and was reorganized under the Agetec name for Western publishing around 1998–2000. Headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, it handled North American releases for several Japanese developers—most notably FromSoftware—and published series and titles such as Armored Core entries, Echo Night, and RPG Maker localized for Western platforms. Agetec also operated a European arm for non‑U.S. distribution. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as PlayStation 3, PlayStation, PSP, PS Vita, PlayStation 2, Arcade, Dreamcast, Windows, PlayStation 4, and Neo Geo.
