Arc System Works Co., Ltd.
Founded in May 1988 by Minoru Kidooka as Arc Co., Ltd., Arc System Works began as a small developer that assisted larger publishers before releasing its first self-published title, EXECTOR, in 1995. Headquartered in Yokohama, the studio moved into competitive 2D fighting games with Guilty Gear in 1998 and later BlazBlue, building a long-running focus on fast, animation-driven fighters while continuing contract work and platform-spanning development. Key documented figures include founder and representative director Minoru Kidooka; the company maintains regional branches in Asia, North America and Europe. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, NES, Nintendo 3DS, Wii, Arcade, Wii U, Game Boy, and Windows.
