Electronic Arts Victor, Inc.

Formed as a Tokyo-based joint venture in the early 1990s, Electronic Arts Victor operated from about 1992 until Electronic Arts bought out Victor’s stake in 1997. The company combined EA’s publishing expertise with Victor Entertainment’s Japan market presence (EA held the majority share; Victor a minority) and localized EA titles while also releasing Japan-focused products. Headquartered in Jingumae, Shibuya, it distributed PC and console releases including Shockwave Assault, Shellshock, Shanghai: Triple-Threat and John Madden Football ’92 among its catalog entries. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as DOS, PlayStation, Windows, 3DO, SEGA Saturn, FM Towns, Genesis, SNES, Amiga, and Arcade.
