Erbe Software, S.A.

Founded in Madrid in 1984, Erbe Software, S.A. operated as a Spanish publisher and national distributor through the 1980s and into the 1990s. Its leadership included Paco Pastor (commonly cited as a founder and long-time director) and Andrew Bagney; María Jesús López is also named in contemporaneous accounts. The company created or sponsored in-house production arms such as Topo Soft and handled Spanish releases for many international and domestic titles. Notable releases associated with its era include Perico Delgado: Maillot Amarillo and a broad slate of 8‑bit and early 16‑bit home computer and console releases distributed from its Madrid base.
