GameTek, Inc.

GameTek, Inc. was the electronic-publishing arm of I.J.E., Inc., operating from a Florida base in the late 1980s and early-to-mid 1990s. Established as a trade name and publishing subsidiary that grew out of I.J.E.’s earlier children’s-entertainment business, it concentrated on licensed television game-show conversions and mass-market PC and console releases. Key releases under the GameTek imprint included Jeopardy! and Family Feud, along with numerous Wheel of Fortune and other branded titles. Some assets were later sold to other companies as GameTek’s operations wound down in the mid-1990s. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as DOS, NES, Amiga, SNES, Game Boy, Commodore 64, Genesis, Apple II, Amiga CD32, and Windows.
