Mindscape, Inc.

Founded in October 1983 by Roger Buoy and based in Northbrook, Illinois, Mindscape, Inc. operated through the 1980s and 1990s as a commercial publisher of PC, Amiga and console software. It maintained a separate European arm, Mindscape International Ltd., for distribution in Europe. During the 1990s the company published PC and console releases such as CyberSpeed (PlayStation/Windows) and handled distribution relationships with studios including Strategic Simulations, Inc.; it was acquired into larger media groups during the mid-1990s restructuring of the industry. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as DOS, Windows, Commodore 64, Amiga, Atari ST, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, NES, Apple II, and PlayStation.
