NCS Corporation
NCS Corporation (Nippon Computer System) began as a Tokyo software firm founded on December 25, 1980 and moved into consumer games in the mid-1980s. Its entertainment releases commonly used the Masaya label from about 1989; Masaya appears on Japanese releases such as Mamono Hunter Yōko and on several Genesis/Mega Drive titles. NCS developed or published Genesis and PC Engine era action and shoot-’em-up titles including Gleylancer and Vixen 357, and withdrew from the games business around 2000. Rights to portions of its legacy catalogue were later handled by other companies rather than remaining under NCS itself. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as Wii, Genesis, Windows, SNES, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, PSP, Wii U, Nintendo Switch, and TurboGrafx CD.
