Nordic Games GmbH

Nordic Games GmbH was established in 2011 in Vienna as the Austrian publishing arm of the Nordic Games group. Owned within the broader organisation led by Lars Wingefors, the Vienna unit took over several acquired labels and inventories after JoWooD’s insolvency and later acquired a range of former THQ properties in 2013, including the Darksiders franchise. Pelle Lundborg is documented as an early publishing director in the group’s Swedish publishing activities. In August 2016 the company was rebranded to THQ Nordic GmbH while remaining the group’s Vienna-based publisher. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as Windows, PlayStation 2, Xbox, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Wii, and GameCube.
