SEGA of America, Inc.
SEGA of America is the American branch of Japan’s Sega, with a publishing and distribution history extending from the company’s own console era to games for other manufacturers’ hardware and computers. Its catalog reflects both Sega’s Japanese development teams and its work with outside studios. In 1996, product development shifted to SegaSoft while SEGA of America continued as a publishing operation, one of several changes in the way Sega organized its North American business.
