Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC

Founded as the North American branch of Sony’s PlayStation organization in the mid‑1990s, the company operated from the San Francisco Bay area (Foster City / San Mateo) as the regional publisher and distributor for PlayStation platforms. It began as a division of Sony Electronic Publishing and was reconstituted as a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Computer Entertainment; later leadership included executives such as Jack Tretton and Shawn Layden. Across the PlayStation generations it issued first‑party and regionally published releases — examples in the catalog include Grandia (1997) and entries in the MLB: The Show series — while coordinating marketing and distribution for the region. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PSP, PlayStation, PS Vita, Windows, Wii, Xbox, PlayStation 4, and Xbox 360.
