Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.

Founded in Tokyo in November 1993 as a joint venture between Sony Corporation and Sony Music Entertainment (Japan), Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. served as Sony’s PlayStation division during the 1990s–2000s era. Under leaders such as Ken Kutaragi it launched the original PlayStation in 1994 and operated regional branches (for example SCEA and SCEE) to handle publishing, hardware and software for Japan, North America and Europe. The company developed and published PlayStation consoles and first‑party software across the PlayStation family while managing third‑party licensing for those platforms. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as PlayStation 3, PlayStation, PSP, PS Vita, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 4, Windows, PlayStation 5, SEGA Saturn, and Arcade.
