TalonSoft, Inc.

Founded in Baltimore, Maryland in 1995 by Jim Rose and John Davidson, TalonSoft, Inc. operated as a PC-focused publisher and developer best known for hex-and-hex/turn-based wargames and strategy series. During the late 1990s and early 2000s it produced and published titles including the Battleground line (for example Battleground 9: Chickamauga), the East Front/West Front Campaign games, and Divided Ground: Middle East Conflict 1948–1973. Take-Two Interactive acquired the company around 1999; TalonSoft ceased operations in the mid-2000s and many assets were subsequently sold to Matrix Games. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, cover Windows, PlayStation, Dreamcast, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, and PSP.
