SuperSnes9x Changelog:
Build / packaging updates
Renamed the binary and config to super-snes9x (including executable, x64, debug variants, and super-snes9x.conf) to avoid conflicts with the stock Snes9X; the existing snes9x.conf remains unchanged.
Hotkey Configuration dialog
Revamped with a tabbed interface (Emulation / Turbo / Display & Tools) replacing the previous 5-page dropdown.
Introduced a dedicated States tab containing all Save/Load/Select Slot bindings along with Bank/Slot/Dialog/File tools.
Cleaned up the header (removed the redundant “Key:” label, vertically centered the Master Hotkey row) and expanded the dialog to ensure all four legend lines fit without overflow.
Resolved visual glitches: InputCustomHot now draws its own EDGE_SUNKEN border, the tab body utilizes EnableThemeDialogTexture, and tab switches now enforce a complete redraw plus focus shift to remove capturing fields.
Added a Reset Speed hotkey on the first page (restores FrameTime to NTSC/PAL defaults; not bound by default).
File menu / window enhancements
Incorporated File โ†’ Choose Logo with bitmap previews to dynamically switch between the four embedded app icons (title bar + taskbar, both sizes), saved as Window:Icon in the config.
Cheat & viewer dialogs
The Cheat Editor is now resizable (WS_THICKFRAME / WS_MAXIMIZEBOX, anchor-based WM_SIZE, minimum size limit) and its default width has decreased from 450 to 280 DLU.
Cheat Entry/Editor, Cheat Search, Tile (VRAM), Tilemap, and Sprite viewers now retain their positions (and the size of the cheat editor) across sessions, constrained to the nearest monitor’s work area.
The Tile Viewerโ€™s < / > address arrows now auto-repeat (250 ms hold delay, 50 ms repeat; pauses if you drag off the button).
Audio improvements
Eliminated the SGB first-boot click: APU-side one-pole DC blocker (~14 Hz HPF) with seeded initial state, plus onset-aligned cosine fade-in that defers initiation until the buffer contains audio.
Suppressed clicks during pause/resume and SGB source-switch events by employing cosine fade-ins across underruns, fade-out tails on pause, and an APU cross-fade that carries forward the last sample from the previous source.
Fixed the CXAudio2 SoundSync freeze during SGB speed changes: ProcessSound now exits its wait when bufferCount==0, allowing PushBuffer to re-prime; the PC throttle bypass also depends on the runtime AllowSoundSync flag to ensure off-100% speeds progress correctly.
