Fallout: New Vegas – Courier’s Stash

Courier’s Stash is a small, practical bundle rather than an expansion you settle into for an evening. It rolls the Caravan, Classic, Mercenary, and Tribal pre-order packs into one purchase, giving your New Vegas character more clothing and weapon choices from the outset.

That makes it most useful if you want the full set of formerly exclusive gear or enjoy changing your courier’s look between runs. If you want substantial new adventures, this is too slight on its own; its value rests entirely on how much those extra items matter to you.

Gameplay

Courier’s Stash changes the opening feel of Fallout: New Vegas by putting more gear choices in your hands early. Rather than earning its place through a new campaign-sized hook, it gives you a choice of four themed item packs: Caravan, Classic, Mercenary, and Tribal. That immediate variety is pleasant if you like beginning a run with a distinct angle instead of treating every courier as a blank slate.

The catch is that this is a collection of gear, not a carefully paced add-on with its own momentum. The weapons and clothing can make the first stretch feel less bare, but they do not create new goals to chase. Once the novelty of choosing among the packs wears off, you are back to enjoying the underlying New Vegas game rather than discovering much that is unique to Courier’s Stash.

It is easiest to recommend to returning players, completion-minded fans, and anyone irritated by pre-order bonuses being locked away. For a first-time player, the extra starting options are nice but not essential. If you prefer to begin with fewer choices and let your character’s collection grow naturally, this bundle can feel more like clutter than a meaningful upgrade.

Graphics

The visible draw is the extra clothing: the four packs let your courier wear different themed outfits rather than relying on the same early look every time. Unique weapons also give the loadout a little more personality, though Courier’s Stash is not built around new locations or a major visual overhaul.

Story

Story is not the reason to buy Courier’s Stash. Its four components are focused on clothing and weapons, so the bundle’s character comes from the role you imagine for your courier rather than from a new narrative thread.

That can still be useful in a role-playing game. A Classic, Mercenary, Tribal, or Caravan-flavored outfit gives you a quick starting point for the kind of wanderer you want to play, and matching gear can make that choice feel more deliberate.

But there is no dramatic payoff attached to that idea within the compilation itself. Narrative-focused fans should treat these packs as flavor around a New Vegas playthrough, not as a reason to return for fresh story material.

Overall Experience

Courier’s Stash is a modest convenience bundle with a clear audience. Having all four former pre-order packs together is welcome, and the extra gear makes character setup more flexible without demanding much of your time.

Its limitation is equally clear: this is a purchase for options, not discovery. You get more ways to dress and equip your courier, but little reason to linger over the bundle once those choices have been made.

Buy it if completing Fallout: New Vegas matters to you or if the themed gear will genuinely improve repeat runs. Otherwise, it is an easy extra to skip without feeling as though you missed a major piece of the game.
