Vantage Master

A Master enters a fantasy battlefield with an army still waiting to be summoned. Vantage Master builds its turn-based contests around Natials, elemental spirits whose abilities and alignments make the next deployment more important than another impressive number.

Eighteen Masters and twenty-four Natials offer different combinations to learn across a story campaign and a tougher Expert mode. Free battles leave room to practice, while network play lets another person challenge a favorite arrangement.

Gameplay

The Master is the center of the army, summoning Natials to fight across the map. Choosing a spirit is also choosing how it moves, what it can withstand, and which opponent it should face.

Elemental relationships make a seemingly strong unit vulnerable to the right answer. Position and terrain matter alongside the next summon, keeping a small battle from becoming a simple comparison of attack values.

The main scenario unlocks additional Natials as the campaign progresses. Expert mode changes the bargain by opening the roster immediately and placing the player in less comfortable situations.

Graphics

The battlefield presents small fantasy figures over a clear, tiled landscape. Water, raised ground, and other terrain separate useful routes, while the character artwork gives the Masters a more elaborate face outside the battle.

Story

Scenario mode gives the chosen Master a sequence of opponents to overcome. Its campaign supplies the next contest without taking attention away from the army on the map.

Learning the Natials becomes part of that progression. A newly unlocked spirit is another possible answer to the next battlefield.

Expert and free battles remove some of the campaign structure. They leave the tactical problem itself at the center of the session.

Overall Experience

Vantage Master makes a useful invitation to experiment with an army before settling on a favorite. A different Master can give familiar summons another set of strengths and weaknesses.

The elemental relationships take some learning, and Expert mode is deliberately less forgiving. Free battles offer a sensible place to find out why a promising unit keeps losing.

Head-to-head network matches add an opponent who can also change plans. The reward is the next small improvement in a formation that finally holds together.
