It began as a joint venture involving Sanritsu Denki and Sega and operated through the 1990s and beyond producing console and licensed titles. Company records list Noboru Machida as a principal and the firm is located in Shibuya, Tokyo. Credits include work on licensed and platform titles for Sega systems and others; among games commonly attributed to the studio are Tails' Skypatrol, Disney's Aladdin and several licensed sports and movie tie-ins. Development activity continued into modern console and handheld generations under the SIMS name.
