melonDS Git Update (April 28, 2026)

melonDS Git (2026/04/28) is an open-source Nintendo DS emulator, part of a new wave of DS emulators. It features a nearly complete core with fast emulation through a JIT recompiler, OpenGL rendering, and support for RTC and microphones. Other features include joystick support, savestates, multiple display modes, and ongoing work on local multiplayer, online connectivity, DSi emulation, and GBA slot add-ons. Recent updates relaxed audio skew limitations and removed margins for audio samples at lower speeds. The emulator can be downloaded in x64 format.
