Alawar Entertainment, Inc.

Alawar Entertainment began in the late 1990s, founded by Alexander Lyskovsky and Sergey Zanin and active from roughly 1999 onward as an international developer, publisher and distributor of downloadable casual PC games. During the 2000s it built a distribution network and expanded through internal studios and partnerships. Alawar published enduring casual franchises including Farm Frenzy and Treasures of Montezuma, and later broadened into mobile, console ports and Steam publishing while continuing to operate its own online storefronts and publishing services.
