Paradox Interactive AB

Paradox Interactive AB is a Stockholm-based video game publisher founded in 1999 and operating as a separate legal entity from earlier Swedish games firms such as Target Games/Target Games Interactive and the unrelated Paradox Entertainment name used in the past. Early leadership after the company’s formation included Fredrik Malmberg and Nils Gulliksson following a management buy-out. Known for publishing PC strategy and management titles, its catalogue in later years includes Europa Universalis entries and many third-party strategy releases listed under its publisher record on MobyGames.
